You will leave the local area by coach in the early morning for the journey to London, arriving in the late morning at Wimbledon. The rest of your day will be spent enjoying the action at the world's foremost tennis tournament, as the stars of yesterday and tomorrow take to the courts for the Juniors and Veterans matches, until play stops for the day. Then it's off to your hotel for a good night's rest.
Following breakfast we set off for the tour of Windsor, with its magnificent castle - the largest inhabited castle in the world. There is plenty to see and do in this picturesque town. You may like to visit the Castle itself (admission not included in the price). We offer you the chance to pre-book your admission to Windsor Castle at the same time as you book your Wimbledon tour.
Visit the State Apartments - including St. George's Hall, the Grand Reception Room and the new Lantern Lobby - and see the fascinating exhibition on the fire and the subsequent restoration. With time for lunch in Windsor, we will head for home during the afternoon, and should arrive back in the local area by mid to late evening.
This tour, which takes place over the final weekend with its unique atmosphere, includes a seat on the wonderful 11,000 seat No.1 Court, where you will see the stars of tomorrow and yesteryear competing in the finals of the Junior and Veteran events. Your ticket gives you an allocated seat on No.1 Court for the whole day, and you can also see the live action from Centre Court on the large screen TV on "Henman Hill".
